Positive point: no perceptible lowpass to my ears --------------------------------------- 3R File: Sample02\Sample02_1.wav 3R Rating: 2.0 3R Comment: smearing is really excessive and sounds like a sudden jump in noise (noise-packet typical of SBR) which has a strange brilliance (metallic). Better mark than 2R because there's no tremolo effect anymore --------------------------------------- 4R File: Sample02\Sample02_5.wav 4R Rating: 2.5 4R Comment: Sound isn't too bad; in fact it shares the same kind of artefacts than 3R: lot of smearing/noise-packet on each note. These problems are simply less irritating (no brilliance/metallic effect) --------------------------------------- 5R File: Sample02\Sample02_2.wav 5R Rating: 3.0 5R Comment: The most lowpassed (low anchor excepted). Harpsichord is therefore less saturated which isn't great. Some smearing (much more subtle than previous contenders) is also audible.
