ABC/HR for Java, Version 0.52b, 20 November 2008 Testname: Sample14 Tester: pcordes 1L = Sample14\Sample14_2.wav 2L = Sample14\Sample14_3.wav 3L = Sample14\Sample14_4.wav 4R = Sample14\Sample14_1.wav 5R = Sample14\Sample14_5.wav 6L = Sample14\Sample14_6.wav Ratings on a scale from 1.0 to 5.0 --------------------------------------- General Comments: I took a long time on this sample, to make sure no artifacts escaped with perfect ratings if I could help it. Sometimes my Logitech Z-5500 speakers were more useful than my Koss TD/60 headphones. --------------------------------------- 2L File: Sample14\Sample14_3.wav 2L Rating: 2.0 2L Comment: This sounds horrible, with that awful underwater mp3 distortion. mplayer (using libmad) doesn't even decode this mp3 properly. It goes way too fast. (I did produce the .wav for ABCHR using the included lame win32 binary, though.) --------------------------------------- 3L File: Sample14\Sample14_4.wav 3L Rating: 4.0 3L Comment: Can ABX quickly and repeatably. Characteristic mp3 ringing in the "clap" or whatever it is. --------------------------------------- 4R File: Sample14\Sample14_1.wav 4R Rating: 3.8 4R Comment: a bit swimmy --------------------------------------- 6L File: Sample14\Sample14_6.wav 6L Rating: 4.7 6L Comment: I can ABX, with difficutly, based on the snare (fastest beat) being less clear, or maybe even just quieter. --------------------------------------- ABX Results: Original vs Sample14\Sample14_5.wav 1 out of 4, pval = 0.937 ---- Detailed ABX results ---- Original vs Sample14\Sample14_5.wav Playback Range: 00.000 to 09.827 4:52:47 AM f 0/1 pval = 1.0 4:54:42 AM p 1/2 pval = 0.75 4:58:12 AM f 1/3 pval = 0.875 4:59:34 AM f 1/4 pval = 0.937
